Evacuation Drill (May 28, 2026)

On May 28, we held an evacuation drill.
This time, we conducted a drill based on the scenario of a fire breaking out after an earthquake. When the earthquake struck, we first practiced taking cover under our desks to protect ourselves, and then, assuming a fire had broken out, we actually walked from the school to the evacuation site.
During the drill, participants were reminded that Japan is a country prone to natural disasters, including earthquakes, and everyone took the exercise seriously.
We never know when a disaster might strike. Let’s remember what we learned in today’s drill, stay calm and act appropriately when the time comes, and be prepared to protect ourselves.
